I brought these beads from my local shop in a few different colours, I didn't want to make anything too intricate with these beads because I thought the pretty red lace style pattern was enough in its own.

Earring tutorial
Follow the directions below to make these earrings.
1. Place 10 beads on a line of wire.
2.
3. Pull the 2 strands of wire you brought together through an 11th bead.
4. Take one end of the wire you threaded through the beads and bend it over to form a loop. Re-thread the wire through your 11th bead and into a couple more beads down the side, Finish by fastening with a crimp bead and then add a shepherd hook.
Peacock Feathers
I had these feathers left over from another craft and thought I'd put them to good use. I love the colours in peacock feather and I thinks these plumes make a real statement piece of jewellery.

Back to it...
Before finishing work to go on maternity leave I was under the false impression that I would have all the time in the world to indulge in all my hobbies while looking after my daughter... what was I thinking! It has been 13 weeks since I had my daughter and these are the first pieces of jewellery I've made. I'm sure as time goes on I'll be able to start producing more pieces regularly, but at the moment I'm more then happy just to spend the time enjoying my little baby girl.
I made these earrings by manipulating wire and adding a green glass bead. These are easy to make and produce a unique piece.
